Ÿiddik Swamp

It is virtually impossible to meander through the swamp without attracting the disgusting grime that has accumulated here. That is, unless you are fortunate enough to have wings – in which case you may pass through without collecting sludge. The air is thick with the smell of decaying foliage and water undulated soil. Various species of algae are an ever-present deterrent for would-be swimmers due to how heavily it has layered itself upon the waters surface. That is if it’s still water under there. The gloom of the surrounding jungle has produced moss and hiding places for predator and prey alike. It is advised that those passing through on foot watch where they step; there is no shortage of camouflaged carnivores in this area.
