The woodland surrounding the castle is more of a jungle due to the humidity that tends to accumulate within the dense forest. Strangely the large herbivores like the area because of the protection of the rock formations that sprout up. A secure place to give birth makes it a magnet for pregnant animals. Thick foliage create barriers, bramble patches become a constant irritation for the residents fighting to get through them. The soil can be unstable sometimes due to the overabundance of water. During the rainy season mudslides occur and flooding becomes an issue.
