Let's do this one more time. Swift paws didn't even touch the ground as the she-wolf silently bounded in direction of Ïtoga Falls. Green eyes were easily visible, even through the thick coat of the trees she was travelling through to get to her usual thinking place where it was quiet enough to think, but loud enough to cover up any emotions she might unfold. Yet, this was not a trip for emotions or even thinking, but instead to get a drink and relax. Just let her thoughts drift away, rather than focus on them. The guard really seemed to need it. Eventually, Kalvia reached the waterfall and collapsed next to it. Despite the fact that she had levitated several inches off of the ground to get here, it was still tiring to watch the entire journey pass by in front of her. Of course, she could have flown, and her wings were aching to do so, but she was waiting to use the energy of which she was saving in her wings to use here. With a tremendous sigh, the tawny she-wolf lifted herself up into a standing position, levitated just a little bit to give herself a good start, and stretched out her chocolate brown coated wings with white tips. As they unfolded, it seemed that heaps of pressure had been relieved from her back and shoulders. With her wings spread, she let herself take off into the air, jumping up and flapping until she was up. After that, it was the simple work of soaring through the sky above the waterfall. Green eyes looked over the falls, unsure of what else she came here to do. She had promised herself it wasn't to think, that she'd been doing too much thinking lately and needed time more to herself; no one on one time with her thoughts. That time in her life was... ajourned. However, Kalvia looked instead up at the sky, the puffy white clouds seeming to be within reach of her paws, but she knew better than to try to touch them, or even fly into them. There would be nothing there - no solid to grab on to - and it would be like entering a city of fog. It would be a death wish, almost. With realization of how high up she was, she swooped back down, wings flapping a few times before she leveled herself out again. At this point she was easily visible from the ground and more so scanning the landscape for other wolves, other creatures, anything. The hunters weren't the only ones who could hunt, she still had to do her job, and... maybe a bit of socialization with a pack member couldn't hurt. Despite her will to stay closed up to other wolves, she still needed to talk just to keep her sanity up. The independence inside herself was unnatural, but that was to stay the same. It was her code, her law, her second nature. And with that, her thinking concluded, having caught herself in the act. Alright... just wait for something to happen. This should be easy, right? It couldn't possibly take that long or be that agonizing.

NITRO TIZ'EVERA ----------------------------------- falling for that little slice of heaven Nitro sighed as he lay near the falls; he sound of the roaring water was like music to his ears. The cháraka had been lazing about in Itoga falls since the morning, wishing to be free of his duties. But as all chárakas and vasílissas knew sometimes the job chased the worker. It wasn't that he didn't like his job, he loved it, but sometimes it was utterly draining. Seeing as he had no companion to share the duty with all of its weight bare on him and no other. When he'd been named the paidí amongst the other pups he'd been elated and wanted to learn as much as he could but know he sort of wished he's slown down and tried to enjoy his childhood. He'd grown up in a swirl of training and watching his parents every move. But of course knowing his past he was sort of happy he did. If he'd not been chosen he probablly would've been cast out of the pack but now look where he was cháraka. Nitro was happy most of the pups had been younger than him when he was chosen. Being the Adopted son of the past cháraka and vasílissa he was special. Hardly any outsider was brought into the pack but he was an exception. It'd been winter when the found him as a newborn. His own mother had cast him out of her litter because he was the runt. But nowlook at him, he was one of the biggest of his kind. Nitro sighed again and cast his gaze down onto the waters below him. Reflections of the beauty around him stunned him into silence and he wondered how he could've inhereted such a beautiful kingdom. Seeing his white form in the water he growled and swatted at it; the feeling of the water on his paw was good. Taking interest in this he called upon the fire that dwelled within him and watched as a blue flame swaddled his big paw. Pressing it to the waters surface he watched as the flame travled through it in a line until it touched the waterfall where it erupted into a mist. Smiling at his power he felt the greatness of his ancestors raging through him. In his own time he'd discovered he was originally the pup of a Diavolos wolf. A shadow flew past his vision and he looked up. A bird? Spying the brown figure that was one of his guard he looked at her witha raised brow. Moving so that he was behind the the falling water he tucked hiself into the passage way behind the water fall. "What is she up to?" he asked aloud as he settled with his head on his paws. His wings touched the walls of the passage and he wondered why he had to have wings at the moment.

A quick glance downward and the wolf was already spying another, her eyes leading her wings to swoop down towards the figure. She needed more detail to identify the scent, the details. As she closed in on this other wolf, Kalvia suddenly realized that it was indeed one of her pack, but this was not just another member. This was Angelos's cháraka! With widened eyes, she swooped down immediately, landing lightly on the air - levitation was a smooth landing method if she could get it right - until she let it cave in beneath her, wings folding in. Landing about ten meters from her respective leader, she padded towards him at a normal speed and dipped her head when she was visible.
"Hello," Kalvia yelled, hoping to be audible over the falls, dipping her head in acknowledgement of her pack leader. She hadn't had many encounters with him that were one on one, and this could be a good opportunity to really get to know him. However, he probably came here to do anything but socialize; possibly think? Internally sighing, but refusing to let herself emit the sound, the wolf would sit down just a couple of feet away from him, wishing herself the ability to know what was going through his mind. Surely he wasn't bothered by her presence?
The valient wolf found herself growing nervous, not wanting to anger or irritate him. Just be yourself; he wouldn't let you be a guard if he didn't trust you, or thought you were irritating. She simply bent down and took a few laps of water from the naturally filtered water, listening to the heavy falling of it. It was soothing, she realized. Kalvia let her eyes slip from the water back over to Nitro, and she found herself wondering what he could possibly be doing here, because it certainly wasn't for socialization.. was it?

NITRO TIZ'EVERA ----------------------------------- falling for that little slice of heaven Casing aside his sudden shyness Nitro gazed out upon the brown fae. Her head was lowered and he sighed; he never get used to the way the other wolves treated him. He'd grown up with them and now seeing them constantly averting their gaze when he looked at them; it made him feel alone. Even his own half siblings were afraid of him. But why? He'd done nothing to provoke fear in them, so why the cold shoulder? The only one who wasn't afraid of him was his older siblings, the twins, Okawa and Nokowe. They had both been in training to be the prophitis when the time for the palidi role choosing came around, and in the end they still declined. The three wolves could almost be triplets except Nitro was marked with the Tiz'Evera crest which had appeared after he was named charaka. It wasn't till then that he'd realized he was adopted. The shrill cry of a bird brought him out of his thoughts and was soon followed by Kalvias quiet voice. Nitro looked at her with a crooked smile and exited the cave allowing himself to be drenched by the the waterfall. The water sizzled as it evaporated and shrouded him in a mist like haze. He smiled at his guard and touched his nose to her forehead, it was a customary thing for him. He treated the most prized members of the pack as family and be wondered when she'd realize that. Her green eyes met his and he gave a half hearted smile. "Hello to you to." He ignored the darkness that seemed to come from his voice and continued speaking. "Kalvia is there something bothering you?" he asked noticing her uneasiness. "You know I'm always here to help, charaka or not. I'm your friend." Nitro hoped she'd accept his words but knowing the closed off wolf he knew there was a slim chance she would trust him. OCC: typed this up from my iPod, sorry if it's crappy.

"Hello to you to."
It was always pleasent to know that your leader was willing to talk to you, but Kalvia already knew this and took little interest in it until his next words were emitted.
"Kalvia is there something bothering you? You know I'm always here to help, charaka or not. I'm your friend."
At this, her lapping of the water stopped and she sat up, looking over to him with her eyes holding a blank expression. "Everything's fine, Nitro. It's nice weather we're having; just a nice day to stretch out my wings and relax for awhile when I can still be watching, guarding, observing... It's a golden opportunity." However much she trusted her leader with her life, this wolf did not trust any one with her emotions. No one. They were fragile, and she was fragile... so that wasn't going to work in this world. Shrugging her thoughts away, she took another few laps of water to savor in her parched mouth. The heat could really steal away this summertime delicacy, and it was even now seemingly so to her mouth and tongue.
The conversation bound to die, Kalvia found herself searching for words to say to her charaka. "How are you doing?" Despite the fact that she wasn't much of a social type, she still noticed that her working all the time, even in her leader's presence, might not be the best decision; maybe ambitious looking, or suspicious. Nonetheless, she did need to improve as there was always room for it, so she ought to find a healthy balance. Still, that would take quite some time... time she didn't know she wanted to spend on such a thing quite yet. There were other things that needed to be done; more important things. Socialization balancing could wait.

NITRO TIZ'EVERA ----------------------------------- wading in the shadows "Everything's fine, Nitro. It's nice weather we're having; just a nice day to stretch out my wings and relax for awhile when I can still be watching, guarding, observing... It's a golden opportunity." Nitro nodded at her words and grinned inwardly at the fact that he was taking no interest iin his priorities at the moment. He watched as she lapped at the water; it was in fact very hot and the water seemed to be the only cure. The Charaka lapped at the waater himself before extending his firery wings a little. The heat seemed to dissipate a little but it was still warm. As he stared into the waters murky depths he thought of what it would feel like to have the cold water surrounding him. The sound of the roaring foutain of water falling from above stirred memories from when his father had brought him here as a pup. He'd had so much fun back then. "How are you doing?" Nitro was torn from his entaglement of memories and thoughts as the fae spoke in her quiet voice. His eyes met her forest green pools and he shrugged a little. After the gesture he rolled his eyes as his fathers voice sounded in his head. Don't shrug! Be regal let them see the power that radiates from your being! Standing straight Nitro flexed his wings, which was now burning bright blue. The heat that emmited from them blanketed him in a comfortable layer. Remembering she'd spoken he began to answer only pausing once to think of what he'd wanted to say. "I've been doing really great" he smiled down at the she-wolf. "Running a pack is never easy ya' know...hows life treating ya'? Make any new friends with the others?" he asked hoping she'd say yes. Nitro had noticed his most respected guard was a little on the introverted side. In his opinion she should make some friends.

"I've been doing really great" he said, and she nodded in acknowledgement. "Running a pack is never easy ya' know...hows life treating ya'? Make any new friends with the others?"
At his question, she managed a giggle, but in the blink of an eye the emotion that once lay on her face disappeared and turned serious yet again. "Life's good, but as to your other question? Yes. I've made friends with what I do." Letting her eyes lock into his, she continued. "I haven't got time for wolves I can't trust. And I hope life is treating you fine, even with running a pack?"
Clearly trying to drop the conversation of the "friends" thing, she flicked her fluffed tail to the left side of her and blinked at Nitro, thinking of something else to say to her leader. "These falls are truly lovely... do they help you with the stress? They do with mine," she commented. "When I'm bored or lonely, I come here. When everything's getting to me, I come here. This place is like a gift."
Now silent, Kalvia waited for Nitro to respond to her, the whole world seeming like it was going to wait, wait, wait for his reaction. In a way, it was.

NITRO TIZ'EVERA ----------------------------------- wading in the shadows
Listening to her giggle he smiled, setting off and array of heat that created a rainbow on the waters surface. But the sound of her laughter was gone in a second, her normal shaded facade returned and Nitro wished for it to return. There was nothing he liked more than seeing joy and pride in his fellow wolves. But in Kalvia's case she had the pride she just needed to express her joy. "Life's good, but as to your other question? Yes. I've made friends with what I do." he locked eyes with her and wondered why she was changing the subject. "I haven't got time for wolves I can't trust. And I hope life is treating you fine, even with running a pack?"
Nodding he let her finished and licked his maw absentmindedly. His eye caught the slight movement of her fluffy tail and again he sighed inwardly. Why was she the way she was? Didn't she know she could trust him, she could tell him anything and he'd never betray her. He considered the fae as a close friend but now he wondered what their relationship status was now. "Running a pack is hard work and its time and strength consuming but i don't mind as long as the members are happy. We're a family you know? We've always got each others back...no matter what." He looked to the water and yawned.
"These falls are truly lovely... do they help you with the stress? They do with mine. When I'm bored or lonely, I come here. When everything's getting to me, I come here. This place is like a gift." He understood what she meant. Indeed the falls was a great place to come when one needed a break. Nitro himself had come to get away from the harsh needs and wants of the others and his own. "What is it that truly troubles you Kalvia?" he asked moving closer to the she wolf, their noses almost touching. He feared for the mental and emotional state she was in. A small part of him wished she could've been related to him by blood so whatever was in her past wouldn't haunt her. Extending his wings a little he resisted the need to take flight for at this moment the fae he looked upon as a sister needed him more.
